Pantheon Asura Longboard Skateboard Deck
The Asura is a small, lightweight drop board for racing and nimble freeride. It's 35.7" long with a 1" crescent drop, just like its big brother the NexusTM. Combining strong as hell curves with a 2" smaller platform than the NexusTM allowed us to cut this deck down to 8-ply maple construction and still have race ready stiffness. We added one extra wheelbase on the inside to bring it down to 26-inches.
It will need some riser, tight trucks and/or small wheels to be fully usable, but it's a ton of fun riding a drop deck with your feet so locked in yet so close to the wheels, and the #pantheontribe asked for it. For most situations, we recommend the middle wheelbase at 27" and for those who are really scared of bite and/or want to ride huge wheels, you can rock the outer wheelbase at 28".
Our crescent drop is the jam. It bends wood in the strongest and most ergonomic way possible. If you don't already know, well, you need to figure it out.
